automatic door locks
I have my car set to lock when the car is put into gear, and to unlock when the car is shut off. But the unlock only works about every 4th or 5th time. Is there a relay under the passenger side kick panel that controls that?

Then you have two prime culprits: a defective MALL or corrosion on a ground bus. The links will take you to some basic tests.
