OK guys, success. I fixed the shorted out wire.....turned the key and everything appears ok. Everyone was right about draining battery. I can't believe that a common ground under the carpet in the vehicle would shut down my fuel pump along with PW & PL. Now lets not forget the car would start and run before and then poop out when it wanted and leave me stranded so time will tell but I'm pretty sure Mike is a genius. Thanks to all and now I gotta find a solution to the problem that started the problem, water under my carpet, anyone know how to find this leak or should I start a new topic....believe me I got some other topics to go over now that the car runs again......lets see.....cruise not working....ac not working and it'* not just a recharge, previous owner said something about leak behind dash? I should prob start all new topics though.

Glad we could be of help. Yes, it would be appreciated if you did start new topics, but first, we always recommend searching for the same dilemma using the search feature. Sometimes you can figure out what needs to be done by reading other posts. Just remember, don't reply to old posts. Start a new one, and try to keep them in the correct forum. If not sure, go ahead and post it, a mod may or may not move it to the appropriate forum as needed.
