Default anyone ever have this trans problem?

you are driving along, and for you slam on the brakes to stop for something... and the car temporarily falls into a pseudo-neutral... when you hit the gas, the engine races as if in neutral, and maybe 3 seconds later it drops back into gear...

I realize that when the trans is low on fluid, this happens... as if slamming on the brakes pushed all the fluid to one side...

anyone else notice this

Can't say that I have. But since you mentioned it, did you check the fluid at all?
