I have never had an aftermarket alternator last... Even the best ones they sell with the lifetime warranty...

I have also been through several reman PCM'*... None of them were ever right... One even had the SES light winking at me and setting a bunch of ghost codes...

Got an AC Delco reman and never had another issue on my 91.... I had to replace the factory unit in my 95 and it to was never right then it started getting funky... I had codes even for an oil life monitor( something I do not have on my car )LOL....

Some of the Duralast seem to be ok... But I have seen a series of these fail too... At least with the lifetime warranty they can be replaced when they fail again..
