Air only blowing on windsheild or on floor no middle vents..
My 97 SSE has problems with the climate control I think. The air is only coming from the windshield or the floor. I can switch it from floor to windshield and winshield to floor but I can't get it to blow through the middle vents at all. I have ran the car to warm it up then disconnected the vacuum line that goes to the resevoir and there was vacuum.
I've been to these posts and still can't find a answer:

and so on...
There is vacuum by the reservoir…
Please help and thank you as always….

todd,
i had the same prob. with my 97 lesabre. my solution was to switch the floor or windshield vacuum hoses with the vent one. i prefer vent and floor...so i put the vent hose onto the windshield and the windshield one onto the vent one. does that make sense? sounds confusing to me

My 94 works based on the temperature. For instance, when I go from 90 to 60 it goes from the floor, to the floor and vent combo then just to the vents. It cycles in reverse when I go back up to 90.
Not sure if mine is normal, but it has been working that way consistently since buying the car.
