Default Air compressor-99 SSEi

I took my air compressor off the botton of the car cause the tire inflator was not passing air. So I took the compressor apart and I got it to work, but whe I took it apart, I made an accident and I broke the screw that fastens the compressor rotator, and the metal hand I call it, which is the one that goes up and down to pump air.... I cannot get the broken screw out of the piece that turns, from the motor, and a new screw that can go there.

Does anybody ever taken apart their air compresso off, and have they ever taking it apart and cleaned, and notice the pieces that I am describing in this post??

Or better yet do you know where to get single parts for the compressor, or Does anybody have an old one that I can buy those parts from...

Thank you for the time...

OK, two things here.

1. The air compressor is under the hood. Did you actually remove the electronic level control sensor?

2. I only remember one other guy that took the compressor apart. He posted a thread on here somewhere. Oh, it was you!

Boy, I think your best bet is still the junkyard. I think many of the GM cars use the same compressor.

Yeah it was me who posted that thread, that'* nice you recalled ti... Well basically everything is in the compressor I did not remove the electronic level control sensor...

I took apart the compressor and unluckally I broke the screw that attaches to the hand that pumps air the the cylinder to copress air.

I look up on Junkyards hopefully I'll find an used compressor, I just don't want to spent $300.00 on a new copressor.

I really apreciate every single second of your professional quality time.

Thank you..

Professional? Who me?

You don't even need a working compressor, just one that you can use for parts.

Yes you!!!

Well le me tell u I search on the internet fot junkyards and I found a compressor that work, is in Seatle, it'* been already shipped to me, I'll get it in 4 days. Price $150.00 not bad. I don't think I could find a compressor that doesn't work on a junkyard and sale it for parts, I think if it doesn't work they will throw it away. Unless they have a different section of parts that don't work.

I also went to the Dealer yesterday after work, and I found the price for a brand new one $425.00. That'* ridiculous...I'll let you know what happens after I receive and install it to see how it works, I never knew how it works, cause I bought the vehicle without working.

Thanx

I received my air ride compressor finally, and it works though... I installed it yesterday.

Now the question is how do I know it does what it suppose to do. How does the Performance ride vs. Touring ride works.

And today would be my inflator test which would be inflating the tires of my bike.

Thanx

No, the compressor has nothing to do with the computer command ride. What it does is raise the back of your car when there is a lot of weight in it. Turn the car off and put 350 pounds in the trunk and see if it comes on.
