Add't info- re- 1998 Bonneville Recall

Just called Pontiac -Customer Service 1-800-620-7668. anyone whose vehicle falls within this recall- call this #- a rep will ask for your VIN #- After I gave him my VIN- he looked it up on their computers etc- my VIN # is NOT on the recall list. According to the rep, NOT ALL of the cars made from 3/1/97 to 8/31/98 with the L36 engine
has a bad fuel pressure regulator. I just hope this is not a BS story!
I'll wait to see if I get anything in the mail from GM within the next few months.

I called and got the same info ... my VIN does not fall within the vehicles recalled. At least I'm on the Pontiac owner mailing list now, so I'll hopefully get future recall notices. Thanks for the info!
