TSB for water intrusion when opening trunk
I was just browsing the TSBs for the '96 model year and there was an interesting one that came up for the '96-'97 model years.
When you open the trunk water drips down into the trunk area. I experience this problem any time I wash the car or it rains. I can live with it, but I sometimes carry electronics around in the trunk and it would be nice to prevent it from happening.
The TSB (73-10-70) says to replace the backup light seal with a new one (part # 16520950). However this part does not show up in GM Parts Direct catalog.
Is that because it has been revised yet again?
