AC Compressor trouble

The pulley is special order, and I already figured out how to re-route the pulley to bypass the AC. I went to autozone and bought a belt for a 93 Olds. 88 without A/C. The Gatorback brand was $21.99 and fit like a glove.
Hopefully I'll be able to get the AC system taken care of in the near future...it'* a pain to drive without it; but I can bear it.
Anyway, thanks again for your help...this was a good learning experience.

Ive been there and done this on my 90 SSE. The shorter bypass belt ate water pumps every two yrs.
A/C compressor is not worth messing with. If you ever want to use your A/C in the future go to the junk yard and get a used compressor. Mine was only $25 and ended all my problems.

cool...thanks for the advice.
Is the water pump a pain to change? From my knowledge the stocker is still in there.
Also, I installed an electric water pump in my camaro. But that one was originally cam driven, not belt driven. Are these available for bonnevilles?
