hmmm any ideas as to how to proceed? I have a whole wiring harness and after checking it I was mistaken and the only connector cut is for the O2 sensor which i actually cut and spliced when i changed the engine any ways. (long story involving idiot brother in law and multi hundred pound engine sitting above my head)


Change the connector or the harness?. I also have the ICM off other engine, glad i stripped the engine and kept all the parts i could think to keep lol

Best to swap out the whole harness. But if you have shrink wrap and can solder good, you can replace the connectorl

Hey, there'* three of your issues right there!

Now, before you run out an buy a new ICM, let me stop you and say that your fuel injectors aren't connected to it. However, if the computer is seeing erroneous readings and trying to adjust fuel injector timing to match, that could cause the P1200 code.

Assuming that your battery cables, the ICM'* 20A fuse, and wiring harness are all good, I'd look into the ICM. Thoughts, everyone?

Dude I would seriously by you a beer lol I changed out the ICM with another one i had, replaced the wires on the spark plugs for good measure. And after almost 100 miles of driving still no issue!!! I made sure to clean the plate under the icm real good and put a coat of Di-electric grease on it, i assumed this was a ground and the plate had crap all over it.

I really appreciate the help from all you guys. Things running better then ever right now.

Good to hear. That'* why we are here. Corrosion is never a good thing. Even a little cn cause big problems. And it'* a pain to track down.

Don't forget about the little ground wire beneath the ICM plate. As many times I have pulled my engine, that = the number of times I forgot to connect that little wire.
