You have a 95 SE with the 94-95 OBD1 computer... Although it does use the OBD2 codes and connector, the onle way to extract codes is with a scanner that will read the 94-95 GM cars( OBD1 ), or you will get the link error.

Thanks for all your help. I replaced the ECM and now she runs like new. Apparently, there is something in the hardware that went haywire. I checked all the fuel injectors for proper resistance, cleaned the main buss bar under the hood and cleaned every fuse contacts. It rocks! this must have been messing things up for some time. It has alot more power than when I bought the car. Runs smooth and hasnt acted up for almost a week. Thanks again for the suggestions. Hopefully, I can repay the efforts in the future.

Glad to hear that you got it running... This seems to be a common problem on the 94-95 PCM'*... So far we have seen about half of the 95'* end up with this failure
