95' SE, rev limiter?

95' SE, rev limiter?

Does the 95' SE have a rev limiter built in? Prior to other problem I posted earlier, I noticed the car would not rev past 3500rmp in neutral. Is this normal? Or is this another part of my previously posted problem? 95'SE Starts,dies,starts,dies... Check other posting for latest progress.

That is the rev limiter. It'* there because revving the motor in park or neutral (free-revving) is about the worst thing you can possibly do to your motor.

The Rev limiter is set at 4000 Rpms, you will bob between 3500-4000... This will also happen in at speeds less than 15mph... As well the is a fuel cutoff after redline
