I'm assuming you have a Supercharged SSE.......can you put "93 SSE/SC" in your signature?
Does your SC only make a rattling noise at idle? When you remove the belt, can you turn the pulley back and forth and feel any 'slop' or wobble? If so, you'll need a new coupler. If not, we'll troubleshoot further.
Your exhaust manifolds are cracked. (Most likely) Removal is the best route to take in order to inspect them and get them repaired. Unless you can FIND the leak, and it'* accessible for welding.

Also, just a comment on Exhaust Manifold removal...it wasn't as hard as i thought, and welding was fairly cheap, and can prevent a lean condition due to the manifolds sucking in outside air..just think..if you got into it enough..you might even consider "porting" or for lack of better terms cleaning up the welds from the factory and allowing better flow.
