A good rebuild with a professionally installed shift kit will put a smile on your face, trust me.
3800 will never let ya down.

Any update on the tranny?
My 93 SE had the same problem yesterday and today. From a cold start, when I would shift from park to either drive or reverse, the car would creep about 1 MPH. I dropped the car into low 1 to get it moving and then shifted to my desired gear.
If the tranny is truly on its last legs, this car will be history. I bought my 93 Bonneville with 98K miles in March 2005. It now has 111K, but has nothing trouble. New tires, TPS replaced, fuel pump replaced plus towing, water pump replaced plus towing, and started replaced. Now the tranny??
Any input?
