John, just a FYI, as far as I know (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but the gauges on those A/C recharge kits measure the amount of freon left in the bottle, not in the system.

In other words I think red zone = empty bottle.

Good luck, the climate control systems are a pain when it comes to recharging. At least you can reset codes, the newer cars can't...

i have a 93 sse i am converting it to r-134 i did what it says in this tred but i can't get the compresser to come on is there a fuse for the compresser clutch

after my last post i went to the serch found the a/c clutch relay location went and checked it it was bad got new one all good cold a/c

maybe bad relay jump it out it'* the one closest to the receiver dryer
