BONNE vs. BONNE??
Just a thought. What do people think about this? I may do it soon for the hell of it.
My brother'* g/f has a '99 Bonne SE, 100% stock. Mine'* obviously a series 1, also N/A like hers. After I get my exhaust and intake (& remove MAF screen), and with all the mods in my sig, I'm thinking I may have roughly 185-190hp. What do you ppl think would happen? I'm sure it will be a close race. Though I have 'many' mods, she has 205 hp and 230lb/ft torque (and half the miles I do) After my mods, how would my torque be affected??? As of now I should have 230 also.
Of course this also depends on who'* driving her car. If it'* her driving, don't mean to discriminate, but I could have a better chance (she doesn't race at all, may spin tires too much, etc....) If my brother'* driving it could be tighter, unless he squeels the tires. I never do. This would be a nice kill if it happened, but either way it'* a fellow Bonne so it wouldn't matter to me.

If you have the same torque then it would come down to HP and weight. But torque has a big part in it, I raced my bro'* 93 SSEi against my 96 SE, same HP but he has more torqe and that'* how he beat me. So, I think the 99 SE is still gona win.

Did the SSEi have 225 hp in '93? Forgive me if I'm wrong. For some (dumb) reason I thought I read a while ago it was that. :?:
Would my torque be the same though after all the mods?? (intake, Magnaflow exhaust...)
That'* what I'd like to know if I did race her. You think if I had more torque I'd beat her though she has 15 more hp than me? That is quite a bit more.
It would be fun anyways.
I can't wait to get a */C series 2.

If I kill it I'll gloat a lot depending on how much I win by.
But I'm still trying to get either of my parents to race me with the 81 Vette. I know I can take that off the line and therefore can widen the gap before it gets a chance to catch up.

The 99 will weigh more once my bro and his g/f are in it, and just me in mine. They will definitely go together. They're inseparable. It makes me sick.
Anyway, it will be close either way. There'* no question about that.
*But does anyone know what my current 230lb/ft of torque would be after the Magnaflow exhaust & intake? It can't be that different, but there'* probably some difference, right?
