Hey all,
My buddy who'* a mechanic asked me to ask you folks a question.
He has the opportunity to buy a 92 SSEi with a bad engine for $500.00, he can get his hands on a non */C engine for free, he wants to know if he can he move the */C over to the NON */C engine?
If so what are his major obsticals in doing so? Or would he just be better off spending the cash on a */C engine and put that in?
At this time that'* all he asked me to ask.
Thanks.

I can't remember if the bottom end differences were ever confirmed, but the Series I NA block and internals and heads will bolt up to the SSEi. Just bolt on the SC parts: LIM, SC, TB, accessory bracket, etc.
You will have to look at knock sensor locations. The 92 SC will have one on the back side near the belts. I know a 93 NA will have one on the front near the AC compressor, and maybe on the back, also. Are all the mounting holes existing and threaded in all the blocks? I don't know.
