Default Engine Block Pulley Question '99 SSEI Suprchrgd

The Arm that comes out of Supercharger, called the "Cone" has a pulley wheel at the end of it, and it is rattling. It is not gonna last long probably. Pontiac Dealer says u have to replace the WHOLE SUPERCHARGER (1400$) for a damn pulley bearing !!! Does anyone know if you can replace just the round pulley wheel of this thing ? The pulley has a SCrew in the center of it, if you were to take this off, does it screw the Supercharger shaft up ? Pic of the Pulley I am speaking of is attached here.

Can anyone help with maybe an exploded parts view, or maybe a mehcanic bulletin about this? Dealer of course wants 1400$, period. I have a pic of it but cannot figure out how to post pic here, I can email immediately to anyone who wants to see it.

Oh you can change the pulley. In act many SC owners use a smaller pulley for extra performance!

The thing is this though (And the gearheads will chime in here):

If its not the pulley itself, it could be more serious. One thing is for sure though, you don't need 1400. Are you a Series 1 L67 or a Series 2?

FIREREALTY, sound advice given in this topic. It'll cost you $30 for the coupler and another $20 tops for oil and sealant.

I'm moving your topic to our Forced Induction section. How about we save you a ton of money?

Let'* start by finding out where you live (city/state).

With the Willwren starting to straighten this out. Let me add.

The supercharger pulley'* are 92-95 Series 1 pressed on and have a keyway.
96-0X Series 2 pressed on only

The tyipcal rattle would be a supercharger coupler. This is a round piece that looks like a Hmmm I described this yesterday..Let me get that link for you.

Here it is.. the green round plastic looking piece is the replacement coupler.
Coupler cost me $30
GM Red gasket maker $10
SC oil (2 bottles) $12
Fixed supercharger: Cost effective
