Default 92 Bonny won't start

Hi,

I have a 92 bonny that i bought almost a year ago. When I bought the car it ran fine except the gages were dancing and there was a crack in the radiator. The car sat on the driveway over the winter and in the spring the radiator was replaced but now the car won't start.

The weird thing is that when we short the obd connector to get the codes the radiator fan turns on and you can here some other clicks under the hood. After a couple of tries we were able to start the car with this short. If we stop the car and start is right after without the short it starts without any problems, but after sitting for a while it won't start again.

What pins are you shorting?

Please notice the security light action when you try to start it w/o shorting.

Without shorting, the light stays on for a couple of seconds then turns off.
