Default 1999 Bonneville

I'm having problems with my car. Everytime I slow down after i've been drving for a little while it will go dead. It always starts right back up, but it goes dead like it'* not getting fuel. My check engine light came on and it stated my mass air flow sensor was going bad, so I had that replaced, but it'* still doing the same thing. Can anyone give me any suggestions about what may be the cause of this. Please adviise...THANKS
