it seems likely that:

1 remove inside door panel
2 have a beer
3 remove nuts holding mirror on
4 have a beer
5 unplug the wire harness (power mirrors)
6 have a beer

reverse to install

It'* probably way late for the answer to be of any use, but I'm sure others will be searching here for similar answers. I just got done changing the driver'* mirror on my 94. Somewhere on the site, someone listed an excellent step by step directions to get the door panel off, including good color pictures. I couldn't have done it with out them. I'm here now to look the guy up and thank him.

I did need two special tools. I bought a door trim pliers at NAPA, that could be worked around, but really makes snapping the plastic "Christmas Tree" clips off easy and then I needed a swivel head 10mm flare nut wrench.
