Default High mileage club?

Hi. YAll
I have owned 4 FWD Bonnevilles. '87SE (192K): '90SEE(169k): 90SE(157K) and 2000(35k). I sold to my 87 to my daughters sisterinlaw. At 245k, a mechanic dropped the pan to check bearings, etc., prounounced it good for another 100k, and bolted it back together. She then drove to 265k and wanting a new one, parked the 87. After setting for a year, I bought it back. I gave it to my step son, and he unfortunately missed drive on a "power shift" and threw a rod. I since sold it for the body to a guy that was installing a 180K motor and tranny. BYW, the 87 had the original everything (except for tires and timing chain) at 192k. I'm talking exhaust, battery, radiator, starter,... EVERYTHING! I never saw such a car! My 90'* are original engine, tranny, exhaust and radiators. They are showing the effects of Michigan winters with door sticking and a little rust. Sorry this is so long, but I am a real Pontiac enthusiast.

lol I wish I would get the same complements from people who see my car in real life! My paint does not seem to be fading in the photo, but in reality the clearcoat on my roof & trunk lid is gone! my hood is allright only because it has been repainted by a body shop(which did not do a good job, as I'm getting a lot of rust in the spots that have been worked on, whereas the original parts are still relatively rust-free) I actually had this crazy idea of getting an sse body kit, and painting the whole car black... but that'* just a thought for now... I have to get her running really well before I start thinking about the looks.

Default milage

my 91 Bonneville LE has 177,000 and stilll going strong, now Im fixing a leaking fuel line and the whole tthing just broke apart including where it attaches to the fuel sending unit which is $122 and the rubber line with the 2 metal clips is $80 (a dealer item only) so with labor and the other parts its about $350 to fix, but my bonny is worth it, no other real expenses since the last big repair which was mostly due to my stupidity.

I feel your pain. I too had the crumbling fuel line problem problem with my 90. New sending unit and both of the OEM flex hoses plus a 20" section of fuel line before the filter. A bit of a pain but I was able to tackle it myself. Below shows tank with new goodies installed.

my odometer reads 312k, but its jacked though. at 95k one of the number wheels cracked, so then i pulled out the cluster, and superglued it. it works perfectly fine now, except it reads 200 k more then it should. nice thing is though that my compass and dic worked for a few months. any ideas that might make my dic and compass work when i open up my cluster again to fix my odometer before anybody notices. i know its not a fuse because the other day it worked for about 10 minutes and faded back out. drop me a message.
