Randman1 10,000 a year for 5 years and your there.My goal is to keep mine till Aug 2006 because thats when its regestered till. Hopin to be at 150,000 then. Thats when I will make my next goal.

I don't remember who, but we have one car from the the first H generation running fine at 330,000 miles.

My 87 has 259,058 miles on it right now. Sadly she died at that mileage and I put her in the shed.

My '89 has over 230 000 k now, and the engine is still running strong... I wish I could say the same about my 2nd tranny

my 88 SSE has 170,xxx my 89 SSE has 130,xxx and my other 89 SSE has 104,xxx

i went to the junkyard the other day,and most bonnie there were 140,xxx to 160,xxx cept one that was at 250,xxx miles..i pulled 2 trannys out of a bonnie with 27,000 miles and one at 56,xxx miles or so...

biggest failure of these cars is transmissions im guessing?

The first engine in my 91 died at 180,000km (112k miles)
The tranny was replaced at 250,000km (155k miles)

2 good trannies eh? pretty valuable find! how much did they charge for them? I'm thinking I might be in need of one veeery soon. Mine gives me this loud bang whenever I shift it into reverse... otherwise it'* fine for now.

a loud bang in reverse,almost as if youre parking up a hill...

yeah,i bought them both for 500$ and pulled them out my self,had 2 lifts for me to use
