Does anybody know if the tail lights off another bonneville specifically a 1987 will fit on my 1990 sse, or do they have to be specifically SSE tail lights?

One thing you need to do is match the setup of the lamps. If your lamps have the amber turning signal, then you must replace them with lamps with an amber turning signal, unless you want to rewire them. None of the 87s have that.
