1964 bonneville tail light question

1964 bonneville tail light question
The tail lights in my 1964 bonne have two different styles of assemblies. The left tail light assembly has two bulb openings and the right tail light assembly has three bulb openings.
Question: Is this correct? If not, what should they be.
