If the interrupter (magnet) was there then the problem was either in the sensor itself or the wiring from the sensor to the Ignition module. It is not always the magnet, just usually particularly after a high rpm excursion.

Didn't reply before because were other problems.

Was year/model was it?
I'm looking for a rad for my 1990 bonneville SSE.

An SE radiator won't work.


It has to be from an SSE, due to the oil cooler that we got integrated into the radiator.
