I've noticed now (since I've been driving with the windows down, because it is warm) that I have a squeaking sound that is consistant with the rotation of the tires it seems. Any ideas on what might cause this?

Wheel bearings? Maybe some grease fittings, grease-less? Is it like every time the tire rotates around, it makes it? Or the squeek increases as the car'* speed increases? If you have a perfectly flat road you can drive on.. does it still squeek? Does it change on rougher roads compared to smoother ones?

brakes dragging? how old are your pads?

It seems that it is every time the tire rotates I can hear it, but really only at slow speeds. I'm not sure about on a perfectly flat road, since I just noticed yesterday. As for the brakes, I have not changed them since I got the car last July, but last time I was changing a tire the pads looked very new, and they can still stop on a dime. I'm guessing they were replaced not too long before the car had been parked for 4 years.

I do occaisionally get a high-pitched squeak when braking, but that has been there since I got the car. Would it make a difference if it has been really dry and very dusty out? The last few days it has been very windy and all the dry sand from winter is blowing around. edit: I have also been doing some gravel road driving lately...

I'll listen more over the next couple days to see if I can notice a pattern.

Most annoying squeek I ever heard was the upper strut bearing, will drive you batty.

i have that! it sucks something awful. how do you get rid of it?

Alright. It is consistant with the tire rotation, it is like once a rotation but not during the entire rotation if that makes sense. Like...squeak *pause* squeak *pause*. You cannot hear it after about 15km/h. It isn't rediculously loud, but noticeable if the window is down. It happens under acceleration, coasting, or braking. Flat road, uphill, whatever.

So...does that help at all?

Well could try loosening and retorqueing the lug nuts to 100 lb-ft. Does sound like a pad/rotor issue. Any chance the wear fingers on the pads are trying to tell you something ?

Thanks guys. I'll try the retourquing of the lug nuts when it is nice out (it has been pissing down rain for 2 days straight now). I doubt it isn't the brake wear indicators since the stopping power in that car is awesome, and I will look into the other things mentioned.
