Amen for remote starters, since I posted about the black puff, I have stood at the tail pipe each time I started the car, about 6 times since yesterday afternoon. No black poof. Must have been a freak thing.
I have had my injectors checked and they're fine. I'm gonna stick with the FP regulator now.
Absolutely no driveability issues with this car at all, it runs better then most new cars

Seeping injector may take a couple of days to leak enough to be evident. I'd run a can of injector cleaner through and see what happens.
