Default Possibly a damper?

I'll start with this: I installed a new cam sensor and interrupter magnet (the way with JB weld that doesn't involve removing the timing cover) a few thousand miles ago and recently my SES light has been randomly coming on for a few seconds then turning off again. Until about a week ago this wasn't accompanied with any mechanical change that I could feel but now when it comes on it feels like the engine has a misfire because theres a loss of power for a second followed by a jerk, then it returns to normal and the light turns off.

The plugs are semi-new and the wires are as well. However, I can only assume it still has the original timing chain damper which is most likely completely gone by now.

The only code is for the cam sensor but if the light turns off, I wouldn't imagine it'* the sensor or magnet.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am basically broke right now and won't have a new block until mid-summer.

Thanks,
-Troy

I "scanned" with a paperclip, so I am unsure.

12 and 41, which is the cam sensor circuit.

Troy,
I had the code 41 a few weeks ago and it was the cam sensor. The SES light was coming on periodically.
So before assuming something else is broke. I would swap out the cam sensor. The part should still be under warranty. While you're at it, see if the magnet is still in place. Couldn't hurt and won't cost you anything.
