Alright, piqued my interest, where/what is a modulator?

A trans flush will typically cost $80 or so. That sounds like a great shop, and a great deal. He'* obviously not trying to empty your wallet.

Funny thing about my modulator (you can find yours right below the TB on the front of the transaxle). Mine is made by Holley. Are all of them? That could explain the high factory pricing on them. Or is mine aftermarket? I've always wondered that.

One of the things I had done at the dealer was the radiator flush and fill. The car'* temp gauge never went up much, and I never got much heat. So when they did all that other work (the ECM, etc.) I asked them to check it out. They replaced the thermostat. The first day or so it seemed to do better, but today -- it was cold even in SC -- the gague never goes up, I never get hardly any heat, and the cabin stays frosty. Any ideas? Could the new thermo be stuck?
