Whoops, thanks 2ksilverbullet. I forgot to post the pics.. .

I didn't really take any pics originally, but I got one after cleaning it a little, and it still looks like ****. And, I have one of my front valve cover that was pissed on a million times. The oil puddle that was originally there, was about 1.5" deep, black as night oil, and it never went away, just kept coming back. This will just give you an idea. And btw, this is the core reason why I am tearing my engine apart. My porting and stuff.. that'* just a "what the hell, why not" type thing.. because I am there, may as well do something good while I am at it.

trans fluid has lots of detergent to clean lifters pushrods and so forth it works i have used it many times

Hmm... I think I may have a use for the 6 quarts of DexIII ATF I have now I can use it on more than one occaison, correct? I don't want to just throw this stuff away.

yea i wouldnt use it regularly but i have used it to get rid of noisy lifter on my G/F'* Cutlass 2.8 MPFI and My carbed 2.8 Jeep it work really well

Well, like every other oil change or something throw in this and some wal-mart super tech, so I can really clean out the engine [I would feel better having clean oil come out all the time].
