Default Knocking noise all the time after I changed the oil and oil pressure switch

I found out what the shop was saying that I had a bad oil pan gasket but I found that it wasn't the oil pan gasket that was leaking, it was from my oil pressure switch. So after I replaced that today I also changed the oil because it was really dirty and nasty. I went with the recommended oil of 5W 30 well I did that and it knocks now, but the faster you go the louder it gets. So does this mean I need to increase it to a 10W 30 or since I have bad plugs and wires should I change them first. Also the knock wasn't there before I bought the car a week ago. The previous owner did tell me they put some Lucas oil stabilizer in it right before I test drove it. My step dad said it was fine for them to use it because it wouldn't hurt the motor, so since he is a mechanic and he told me it was good car with low miles I should buy it before anyone else does. The car has not even 80,000 on it yet. It is at 79,500 right now. Also the oil that came out seamed kind thick but couldn't tell how thick though.

Also the friend of mine checked the oil for saw dust because I am guessing they use that stuff to quite a motor down to make a quick sell.
