Default gaskets

Tips
When I did the 96 it was extremely important when you remove the intake that no debris gets into the lifter valley. Make sure you cover it good while cleaning the surfaces.
You also must do an oil change before you are done.

I had that done last year John!
I was able to assist, and just like Bill had said, might as well do the lower gasket as well. You will already have alll the parts off, this would be the best time to do it, and if the upper is going, the lower will be on its way. It took us about 4 hours (not in any rush) and there was only one snag- the coolant guage sensor had to be snipped, as we somehow managed damage it. The temp just kept on rising just after we started it up. But I replaced that a week later, and no problems since.
Do an oil change indeed, and a coolant flush wouldn't hurt either.
nice pics by the way!

If I am correct after install is done I change oil then run car for how long and change oil and filter? Also do I do anything with coolant, just fill it and go.

I don't exactly know how long is being recommended, but I would want to change after a week or so, certainly no more than 500 miles, IMO.
