Yah my Supra does that, just blares the horn at you when the door or hood is opened
with the alarm set. Wont start either.

What is weird, I can get the alarm to go off occasionally when locking from the Passenger'* door with the driver'* and pass'* door open.. but it isn't consistent. However, I can start the car with the alarm blaring. Not cool if you ask me. Although it won't shut off on it'* own. I tried once to see what happened [and kinda to **** off my neighbor] and after 25 minutes, the cops showed up and told me to disarm it.
