Also make sure the tube (about 3/4" diameter black hose) is still attached to the housing for the temp sensor and the HVAC programmer on the other end.

The programmer draws a small amount of air through this tube to encourage cabin air to flow over the interior temp sensor in order to get an accurate reading.
