Possibly a fuse or relay problem. Since no locks work, it'* not just the lock itself. Since you hear something else where, it'* not the button. If I recall, there is a relay on the passenger side of the maxifuse relay center under the hood.

Hope this helps.

the relay for the locks is behind the glovebox compartment. 90'* did not have MAXIFUSE. 91 was the first year to get it.

Had the same problem with my 91.
You press the automatic locks and you get a little click from what sounds like the glove compartment.
For me it wasn't a fuse issue, and I don't believe it'* yours either.
It'* possible it'* a relay issue.... I find that with my 91 it'* worse in cold weather. But if you wait a minute or two then they will work. Odd I know.
Someone mentioned taking all the doors apart and greasing down the locks (and window motors while your at it) with white grease. I know it works great for the windows, and I heard that it'* solved some lock issues too.

Hope that info helps.

Sounds like the same exact prob I experienced awhile ago.

As it turned out. The Driver side contact was stuck underneath the switch plate. Once I freed it, all the power door locks worked.
