Escalade gauge problems

I have a 2003 Cadillac Escalade, the dash guages will quick working then anywhere from 3 seconds to 5 minutes will come back on. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong ?

Only thing I can think of is a loose connection giving the sporadic time given.

Could be a bad ground. Not sure where all the grounds are on that truck.
