mechanical help PLEASE!!!!!
my 99 lesabre recently kicked on the check engine light n I haven't had time to go get it checked. Now my car is idling rough when started cold n there'* not much smoke coming out of the exhaust. Anyone know Wat is causing this?

Could be a LOT of things. There are over a hundred codes that will set of a service engine soon light. Go get the car scanned to see what the code is, bring it back here, and we'll go from there. Without that, we have no way of knowing anything.

could be a maf tps o2 sensor missfire fpr cps any number of things we need the code to be of any honorable help.Take it to autozone have them scan it make sure you get the printout with the codes on it so we can be of more help

How do you expect that we can help you, without you providing some information. Currently your post says something along the lines of "my car runs badly, why?" It'* very tough to internet diagnose w/o some codes or information.
For all we know it'* your UIM that cracked and you are losing coolant. You don't mention what color the smoke is, what it smells like or anything of that nature. This makes it very tough to help you.

As others mentioned....get over to a parts store ....
Get the codes (OBD2) pulled....FREE
Let'* get a real starting point....it'* better than guessing from your vage description & cry for helppppp...!!!
Hope others will follow similar suggestions to give a good description & codes if possible...
