Default "Sword" owners introduction!

Howdy LeSabre owners!
I'm Jason, and I'm a Buiholic! (Buick-aholic?)
I realize we are the black sheep of the Buick lineup in a way. Most of the attention is on the Regals, or even the Park Ave. But the Sword gets no love.
But if you think that is going to stop me from making this car into what I want, you underestimate me!

I've been on this site for quite awhile. I figured I would post this up to get some traffic in this sub forum. Hopefully by coming forward, we might find some other owners in here.

I have a 2004 LeSabre Custom in silver.
Current upgrades, FE5 suspension from a 05 Bonneville GXP, DDM tuning 6000K low beam HID kit, 180 degree t'stat, and a few other goodies.

Future plans to the car include: 18" wheels and tires, dual piston caliper kit, L67 "Top swap", 4T65E conversion to HD with a LSD, exhaust pipes split off the rear into a Camaro style dual setup. Also in the works, a full stereo makeover (have everything but the head unit and the steering wheel control adapter), a lots more (but I don't want y'all stealing my ideas!! )

So that'* my ride. If you have one, please post it up and join the Sword owners!

Guys, guys, I've been on here for awhile now. I'm just trying to start a thread for the Sword owners to draw them out of hiding...lol.

Thanks a lot. This is the nicest car I have ever owned and I hope I get a million more miles out of it. I'm hoping to find eventually find a nice 89 or so lesabre t-type.

lol, at the rate you're going with it, it will take you about 50 years to get that million miles in!

Mine, I have big plans for, but no cash. I'm a dreamer, but a poor one that that.

In the past few cars I've owned, all have had money dumped into them just to keep them running and getting me to work, so I can make money, so I can dump it back into the cars that keep breaking down.
Honestly, besides the HIDs, I think the FE5 suspension was the first "mod" I've done in a long time. Something that didn't "need" to be fixed to keep it going down the road.
But I swear right now, every paycheck is going to replace parts on this car, trying to chase down this nasty vibration I keep getting that no shop can seem to diagnose. All they want to do is swap parts out, and heck, I can do that myself, and the labor rate is a lot cheaper if I do it!! lol
