Large Mechanical cricket
Weird noise, kids mentioned it. I never heard it till today. Sounds like monster
cricket about 4 lbs worth. Almost like it is in door/windshield/fendor/hood/dash area.
I dont think it is the suspension or steering. If I open door to listen while driving, cant hear it in the front wheel areas. 1990 LE 142,000 mil.

No, the fan was not operating. It seems to be a rubbing in the frame / body. Its old so am wondering if some bolt has come loose or a weld somewhere broken. Not sure if
the car was ever in an accident. I am wondering about the shock absorber housing. Will do some dissassembly this week maybe.
