97 Buick Riviera lh door handle removal
Hello All
I have a 97 Riviera 3800 SC, I'm having an issue with the driver side outside door handle. I have made one attempt to remove it. I got the 2 bolt out easy enough my problem is with the 2 linkages for the key lock and the handle itself I believe if I can get the handle out I might be able to fix it.
So my question is " How do I get the linkages off the handle or the locking mechanism?"
Thanks for any input

If you have both bolts out, you should be able to slide the whole assembly outside the door......it will be tight........it would be a good idea to take maskin or duct tape around the opening, so that you don't scratch the paint on the door......with the handle assembly outside the door, then you can release the retainers....they just pop off and rotate off.....
