underbody neon installation?
I am considering putting a blue neon kit on my 90 SSE. I have never done this before, so what is involved in doing so? How are they mounted and wired? Does anyone think that this would be too much for a car that is basically stock? Also what would a kit cost? I've seen some pretty nice setups on this forum, but none on an older model...

Fairly a straight forward install, the kit I got from ebay ($50) came with all the mounting hardware. Not sure for year but in my year there is much to hide the tubes along the sides of the car. Front and rear may be tricky too as the rad and spare tire well are in the way.
Wire any way you prefer, I wired mined to a remote so I can turn them on with the push of a button.
Shop around there are some deals to be had if your willing to wait

i agree with the zip ties. sounds bad but the work very well. do not get small cheap ones but they work well and you do not have to make holes and it makes you able to put them place where normally you could not. hide the bulb if at all possible it will looks so much better. neons are supposed to glow not look like a light buld attached to your car. i love neons but i hate to see them stuck all over a car. i have seen people with a 6 inch neon attached to the dash above the radio....poor car.

i agree with the zip tie idea... They are like duck tape it works on everything.. LoL...
I am planning on some blue neons here pretty soon, and I have looked under my car and it doens't look like it will be an easy job to hide them, But I will figure something out...
