Default Underbody Neon Placement

I was looking under the car on the weekend for a place to put the neons. The front and back seem straight forward but the there does'nt seem to be a place to hide them along the sides? Any ideas? I dont want to see the tubes just the effect.

in my personal experiance there isnt a way to hide them givin current body configuration
i would reccommend doing is taking a piece of aluminum L channel painting it black or whatever color u want, securing it so one of the flat sides of the L is facing out, thus leaving you a spot to ziptie the neon to. Then put the neon BEHIND it, (like in the crook of the L )and either paint over, or tape over the ziptie (i would reccommend black, then using electrical tape). thats gona be about the ONLY way to hide the neon

I got a brand new set of Red street glows from ebay for $66 cdn. I'm wiring them with a remote control and also using one of the garage door openers in my overhead console.

I could make an L bracket to shroud direct light, if I paint it flat black that should make it blend into the under carridge. Good idea thanks

I would paint it with the bed liner spray that you can get at Autozone. I think its like $4/5 a can. If you get paint youll have to worry about repainting it and it rusting out on you. That stuff would be more durable and definently less work to keep up.

Did you get the gold series or blueline? used or new? $66 cdn is one heck of a price...i paid $120 US for the gold series and thought that was a real bargain. heck they list at $300 US

Should also keep vibations down, and if the tube hits it (somehow, you never know, it'* on a high speed car) it'll be a lil softer then metal or plexi.
