Hey all,
I'm seriously thinking about red underbody LED.
Any underbody color is illegal in my province, so I might as well go red. I don't plan to use it while moving, just in parking lots and stuff.
I was wondering how/where everyone has installed their on/off switch for the underbody lights? Maybe if some ppl would be kind enough to post pix.
Also, anyone got any ideas for a remote on/off switch for it?
I'm wondering if my CompuStar or Viper 2way could be programmed to turn them ON/OFF.
I'm probably getting two kits... one for each car.

:edit: also your regular neon is gonna be less expensive... i had the PG kit cost me almost $300 and you can get SG kits for around 140 if you buy online.. also its almost $80 to replace broken LED tubes.. and i think the long Streetglow tube is like $40 or so....as for pics.......
Plasmaglow Kit on a Blue setting...

Streetglow Gold Series Blue underbody

PlasmaGlow on RED

SG gold series RED

FireDevil...
Thanks for all the info....
The guys at the local car audio shops are all pushing LED instead of Neon.
They say they are brighter, last longer, lower power, and better warranty.
I like the comparison photos you provided... it looks like the neon is actually brighter.
If I had neon or LED installed, I definately would not want the tubes showing.
And good to know about the remote control.... although I might have to wait.. my 91 might have a bad "harmonic balancer..." going to need to find out how much THAT repair is... :P
