Default tail light question

a while back i had to put the tail light assembly from a 92 se on my bonnie as u have seen from the pics. well i had to splice in a new buld socket because mine wouldnt match up directly this has caused my bulb indicater on the dash to say that my bulbs for the tail light are blown but they are not what could cause this.p.*. i might have to splice the head lights as well because i have the heaadlights off a 96 sse please help

I know this sounds dumb, but do you have the correct bulb in the new socket?
