Default security alarm going off

I have a 1996 SSE. I have been going through a lot of the old posts but I can't find an answer to my problem. Most people with security problems can't get their car to start. This is not my problem. When I lock the car with the door switch or key fob the car alarm will go off for no reason. I can lock it with the key and the alarm won't go off. This is how I lock the car now but it is a pain. I wish there was an easy way to disable it all together. I have a display that will show if any of the doors, hood or trunk are open and I have never seen any problem with any of those switches. I wish there was a fuse you could pull or a wire you could ground or a module you could remove. I am scared that if I start messing with it the security system will lock down and stop the car from running. If anyone has a good answer please help. Until then I will just keep locking it with the key.

Can you verify that your display is working properly? ie open ALL doors, trunk and hood. Just want to make sure that the door switches are working and indicating open.

Yes, if you open a door or have the hood open it will show up on the display.

Don't worry, Ive' been rattling my head on this one. Someone with a little more experience should pop in soon, but because of the holidays, we may be looking at a little more of a wait time. We do apologize for that of course and thank you for being patient.

Actually, I have not yet see a home alarm security. But I know that these types of sensors are designed for indoor use. Outdoor use would not be advised due to false alarm vulnerability and weather durability.
