Default 92 bonneville problems

Hello all bonneville peoples. well i am new to this club, and i have alot of questions about my car, hope you can help me, first off it is a 92 ssei, here are my problems....

First, sometimes around 2000 rpm i get a vibration and sometimes missfires, also sometimes does this at wot, seems to lose power and miss.

Second my boost says it is always at -70, and when i get on the gas it moves really fast, is that normal, or should it be at 0??

and the last one i can think of at the moment is there is a wierd clicking sound coming out of the cannister on the drivers side fender, it sounds like a little motor running. It'* not the compressor, anyhow hope someone can help me out, thanks in advance!

The clicking sound could be your charcoal canister. Check to see if all of the lines are connected to it properly, and there are no cracks in the lines or the canister itself. You may have to remove some things to get to it.

yeah, that is were the sound is comming from, the char canister. i will check that in the morn. thanks, so it is probably a loose hose then? that would be a easy fix.

Lets talk about that boost thing.....the metric throws me every time. At idle, you should be full LEFT on the gauge. For me, that'* -10. Bigger number for you. Is zero straight up for you too? I'd love to see a pic of a canadian boost gauge for reference. You should read about zero during mild boost.....normal accelleration. At full boost, WOT off the line, you should be nearly full-scall on the gauge, all the way to the right. For me (stock) that was almost 10psi. After a few mods, it'll read a bit higher.
