well they are not purple in person,

the the clear was a matte finish

Yeah they're kinda dull and faded. That'* the effect I got when I used the krylon... duplicoat or whatever worked much better.

i agree with you haro. it DOES look nice (to me)

but im gonna make it a little darker eventually

and i dont know why its not glossy... the stuff we used to gloss it was "dupli-color clear acrylic lacquer"

any suggestions to gloss it up? =)

pats my hero...btw.

Odd... that'* same thing I finished mine with. What kind of conditions are you painting in? Is it humid?

That could be a tad too cold for that clear. I did mine in about 70 degrees, and very light humidity.

i believe its this one:

it looks like its DPL 106 Clear but on the can i got it says DAL 1695
