I just got back from the KOA to my Hotel room. Ya, I got wireless here but I'm beat from a fun night of circle dirt track racing (spectating only) at Lebanon. It'* only a 20 min drive from the KOA. PDad'* family and mine went with Rod Round.

Took me an hour to drive back because the Bullet kept stalling every 5 min and then it would take about 10 min until it would crank over. Turn the key and NADA, no crank no power. Leave the key on ignition and everything works but as soon as I turn it to start, everything goes black.

The last time I had this much trouble was on Monday when I left for John'*. It has been running great for the last two days and now this.

We are primed for the one hour drive to the coast to Newport Beach tomorrow morning. My wife doesn't want to go but I'm game. We'll have plenty of help.

We sort of have the problem narrowed down to the engine bay fuse panel. The fuses are running hot. Bill wants to tear it apart tomorrow.

Still hit 94 F today but it is promising to cool down a bit by race day.

Mike and I went out to help the Bullet the last time. After it started, we ripped by on the left side. Paul is bleeding from the left ear now.

Seriously, he could here the Zilla scream from BEHIND him over the sound of his twin cannons.

Yes, check to make sure the 3 bolts that secure the 2 halves of the underhood fuse block are tightened down properly. The fuses are actually hot? Take a look at the C1, C2 & C3 connectors under the fuse block, inspect for tightness, general conditions.

Looks like a lot of good times are happening.

You guys need to go to a local Starbucks for wireless access and post more PICS.

As far as Will working on a 2K+ Bonneville, your call, remember he is not that familiar with the newer generation Bonnevilles, and needs to learn sometime. J/K

He will help you through this problem. I hope you get the Bullet fixed once and for all. You have the best Bonneville repair team working on the Silver Bullet now. You have one nice car.

Big day today. All but Greenzilla and Bone-Evil went to the Coast for the day. Tracy and Mike saw the Pacific for the first time (Mike has never even been to the US).

We did all 4 endlinks on Evil while they were gone, and changed the Zilla'* plugs. When they came back, some of the group attacked Cheetah'* car. It'* still a mess from the drive from Alaska.

Hans finally got his miss fixed, but now has KR issues. Travis **** a blower module, and we nailed him a replacement for ten bucks at the wrecker and got him fixed quickly too. Matt got the assist on that.

We're off to dinner soon. Rod and Cindy Rounds will be leaving tomorrow, this is the official welcome dinner, but also a sad 'seeya next year' farewell to them as they move on to the next track on the race circuit.

It'* off to Woodburn Dragstrip tomorrow for test/tune. We'll upload more pics tonight if we're sober enough.
