Nothing wrong with admitting fault Sarah. When I did my door last month, I fubar'd the CC.

Question is, are you able to use thinner to remove it and start over? I have never used VHT before.

One big thing I hate about VHT.... it fades :(

How long has it been on there? In my experiences with three vehicles with tails and headlights tinted on one of them the VHT faded within about 12 - 18 months. All were clear coated and looked amazing, now they still look ok, but not nearly as dark as they did. Maybe a different clear would work for me if yours has been on a while and still hasn't faded...

None of mine faded, and and yes lightly using acetone will take it right off

I used about 6 coats of automotive clear coat.

No, that'* what wax is for and I wax everything (except glass) on my autos.
